One of your closest friends Adam is in the hospital. He was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance last night and is in critical condition. His doctors say that he has suffered a drug overdose. You knew that Adam experimented with drugs, but you didn’t know he was in that deep. Although Adam is expected to make a full recovery, he will have a long road to getting off the drug. Being such a close friend, you vow to do anything to help him and to prevent other teens from falling into the same situation. In order to understand all about Adam’s drug of choice, you and your classmates decide to educate yourselves about this drug. As a result, you also decide to start a drug awareness campaign at your school to prevent others from falling into the same situation as Adam. You will launch your campaign by presenting your project on January 12, 2010.
Your presentation must also be emailed by the due date to Mrs. Spencer for evaluation.
